Operations Support Leader Jobs at Newcastle

In this high-profile office management role, you’ll be the senior administrative contact on a site that will become home to more than 600 customer service professionals.

A key part of the site management team, from the day we open the doors to our new Sales and Service Centre in Newcastle, your job will be to manage a full administrative and secretarial service to the site. You’ll be a visible, positive presence, leading your support team by example, bringing out the best in them and truly representing Sky’s values: especially the belief that we can always strive for better.

Success means enabling our customer-facing team members to get on with doing what they do best: delivering ever better service to our customers – every single day.

Personally, you’ll need to be someone who’s proactive and prepared for anything with a strong grasp of the systems that keep an operation like this running smoothly. If there’s a problem on site, you’ll find a way to solve it, calling on natural resourcefulness and by cultivating a support network that stretches in all directions, on-site, locally and beyond.

Alongside professionalism and polished relationship-building skills, you’ll need to be unflappable – someone who’s comfortable switching rapidly between day-to-day co-ordination (like arranging meetings or welcoming visitors) to looking at the bigger picture. That’s where you’ll need analytical skills to match your administrative accomplishments; if there’s a smarter, better way of operating, you’ll find it – and make it happen.
